Let me add that all these hotels on Front Street are only steps away from LOTS of restaurants. We own timeshares at the Galleon (next door to the Hyatt) so we don't need to book rooms very often. We haven't stayed at Ocean Key in quite a while, and it's undergone renovations since then, but if you could live without a beach, it'd probably be my first choice. Pier House has the Harbour View Cafe (which we prefer at lunch, because for some strange reason we've always had better food and service than at night) Īnd the Beach Bar & Grille.very casual, and right next to the beach. Ocean Key not only has a fine dining restaurant (Hot Tin Roof), īut another very popular, very casual restaurant, We were pleased to see Lindsay again at the front desk again who was wonderful. Both Ocean Key and Pier House have waterside dining. Fortunately for the next four days of our stay, we had a lovely time due to the extraordinary professionalism and graciousness of the day manager: Lyenna who upgraded us to a lovely room with a double balcony and more space. She most certainly does not meet the standards of such a resort. I have never experienced such a rude person in the hospitality industry. I ended up in the original room overlooking the pick up trucks! When I asked for help with the luggage, Mallory asked me if I brought a luggage trolley and did not even offer staff to help. I called the front desk and requested another room. When we got back to our room after dinner, the air conditioner was not working, and it was incredibly hot. I was curtly informed that I would have to pay the same price ( with points) as a balcony room even though there was no balcony. We had been traveling over 10 hours, the room type we requested ( Balcony high floor) was unavailable and we were put in a ground floor patio room looking at several trucks a few feet away from our patio.Because of the privacy issue, I requested a room on a higher floor. Unfortunately, our stay last week got off to a terrible start due to an unprofessional and rude front desk "manager" Mallory. We returned because we had found the resort to be a perfect Keys resort and the staff members to be among the best of any of our hotel stays, including 5 star luxury resorts. We returned to the Courtyard Faro Blanco the end of July after a fantastic stay in April. The hotel’s convenient location also means you’ll be close to all the area’s attractions including Seven Mile Bridge, Dolphin Research Center, The Turtle Hospital, Sombrero Beach and more. Complimentary bikes and beach accessories such as chairs, coolers, and umbrellas are available to check out the island life. Daily fishing and boating trips can also be booked at Faro Blanco Marina, which is walking distance from the hotel. Take a thrilling ride on a jet ski rental or explore the waters in a clear kayak. Explore the warm waters of the Florida Keys with a variety of watersports available from our private dock. With the hotel’s poolside Bluewaters Bar & Grill, you’ll never have to go far to quench your cravings. Two onsite restaurants feature daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and full bar. Participate in our family-friendly Caribbean-style signature event, Eventide, every evening a half hour before sunset. Courtyard Marathon has all the luxuries of a full-service resort, including two onsite resort-style pools with waterfront views, live music, beach bonfires, a family-friendly game lawn, and unique resort experiences. Enjoy a tranquil getaway at the Courtyard Marathon Florida Keys. Welcome to island life at our waterfront resort.
